NHL 2013 Week 5 Goalie Rankings

With the 2013 NHL season now over a month old, my 3 nominees for the Vezina trophy are Craig Anderson, Pekka Rinne, and Carey Price. Below is the top 50 list, with my previous rankings being done in week 2.The biggest surprise thus far (Mr Anderson notwithstanding) has to be Viktor Fasth, who has now shot up to the #6 spot. Lundqvist, Fleury, and Mike Smith have all rebounded from slow starts, while Ilya Bryzgalov continues his considerably solid play this season. The list does reward goalies who play more games, which hurts Luongo and Schneider who have been splitting games.
